Peace Out Cancer Chair provides a recliner/lift chair, free of charge, for breast cancer patients to use as they recover from surgery. The chair is loaned out for 3-4 weeks, so the recipient is able to get up and down without assistance and has a comfortable place to recover. The recipients pick up their chair at the POCC storage space in Overland Park the weekend before their surgery and they return it once they are able to sleep comfortably in their own bed.
