If you are uninsured or underinsured, you may be eligible for free genetic testing. KC CARE Health Center and JUNTOS offer a program to assess your risk of an inherited cancer syndrome at no cost to you through the Center for Genetic Services and Health Equity. If you would benefit from testing, we send a kit to your home. We then provide counseling regarding the results and help navigate if additional care is needed.
