I have had a very positive experience with St Luke’s from the very beginning. My initial mammogram and biopsy were at St Luke’s East and they got me into see a team (oncologist, surgeon, genetic counselor, etc) at St Luke’s on the Plaza right away - within three days. Everyone from the desk staff to the doctors were friendly and supportive. But a special shout out to the nurses and nurse practitioners. They made a bad situation better - always making sure I felt okay physically and emotionally. I also loved the way St Luke’s offered comprehensive supports for me as a whole person. I took advantage of them and saw the nutritionist, took yoga classes, met with their counselor and went to classes. They even offer massages for caregivers and counseling for family members. I always recommend St Luke’s to newly diagnosed women when they ask.
