I recently had my third revision surgery at KU and switched to Dr. Braun after having my previous surgeries with Meredith Collins. Dr. Braun took a different surgical approach, and while it is still too early to know whether it fully resolves my divot issue, I am hopeful. Dr. Collins is the most thorough, loving, detail focused surgeon I’ve ever met. Her nurse Lauren is also kind as can be. I’m only 4 weeks out but my results are already fabulous.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Richard Korentager at KU Med. He is kind, patient, understands and respects women's needs and was my advocate throughout. One thing I learned is that not all surgeons work together. I was very pleased to work with Dr. Wagner for my mastectomy and Dr. Korentager for reconstruction. I was able do this in 1 surgery which was very fortunate.

I went to KU Med for all of my breast cancer surgeries. My plastic surgeon was Dr. Julie Holding, and she was amazing! She was so positive and caring. She said, "I'm going to take care of you!" and I felt it. I had a double mastectomy, and Dr. Holding put spacers in (This was in 2013...I know the technology has changed.) They were uncomfortable but did the job. Then, she replaced the spacers with silicone implants a month later. That surgery was a breeze! I highly recommend Dr. Holding. If I ever need my implants replaced, I'll use her again.
