Dr. Brad Koffman

I had 20 rounds of radiation with Dr. Koffman at Menorah.  He is a very nice, caring doctor.  The appointments always ran on time if not early, and his staff was very friendly.  They greeted me by name each day when I walked in and always had my favorite music playing when it was my turn, which was a sweet gesture.  Once a week I would meet with Dr. Koffman in case I was having any problems, but I never was.  Of course, you don't really know if the radiation was successful (how can I possibly know if all the cancer cells are gone?) but I can tell you that it was not painful and that I really didn't mind the process.  When you hear that you have to have 20 treatments of something it sounds overwhelming, but it was not a big deal.  I actually thought I was going to miss everyone when it was over because you kind of get to know each other.
