Dr. Anne O'Dea and her team at KU medical were outstanding. I had an unusual response to my first chemo and they were quick to respond and bring me before the tumor board to determine next steps. She is passionate about her patients and is willing to go the extra mile.

Dr. Anne O'Dea and her team at KU are simply INCREDIBLE! They are so compassionate as you embark in a club that you do not want to be a member of! They take the time to listen to you and I have NEVER felt rushed when I come in for my appointments! They answer ALL my questions, and I have never felt like any question was insignificant!

100% agree here! Dr O’Dea was my oncologist. She carefully watched me during the entire cancer journey, adjusting my chemo because I had severe side effects. She brought me in for extra fluids after chemo because I was feeling sick all the time. She calmed me down when I was nervous about taking tamoxifen and then Arimidex. She always makes time to see me if I”m having an issue or she’ll schedule a scan if I’m worried about an ache or pain somewhere. I highly recommend Dr. Ann O’Dea!

I highly recommend Dr. Simran Elder at Advent Health. She is knowledgeable, caring, and a great listener. She always takes the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns.

Dr. Priyanka Sharma at KU

I have great respect for Dr. Sharma. Throughout chemo, I always felt I was in good hands. She specializes in breast cancer, is actively involved in research and is up to date on the very latest research results regarding optimizing outcomes. She is gentle and kind and spent time answering my numerous questions. I never felt that she was in a rush. When I had concerns or questions outside of our visits, she and her nurse practitioner were always quick to respond. I hope you don't need chemo, but if you do, I highly recommend her!

I LOVED my experience with Dr Pluard at St Luke’s. He is brilliant and well-respected worldwide. He has a pleasant and unhurried bedside manner and explained my diagnosis and options very clearly. I do think that he now mainly works with metastatic breast cancer - my diagnosis was seven years ago. However, the whole team there at St Luke’s is amazing, in my experience.

Dr. Joseph Stilwill

Dr. Joseph Stilwill at Menorah has a great bedside manner. He is easy to talk to, he's a good listener, and he never seems rushed. He's a soft-spoken guy, but don't be fooled: he is well-respected among his peers and is currently the president of the medical staff at Menorah.

Dr. O’Dea and her team were amazing during my treatment for HER2+ ER/PR+ breast cancer. She walked me through my treatment plan step by step. She was easy to talk to and always answered my questions and gave me options.
