Itchy Scalp
Hey all, I'm a 38-year-old from OP with triple negative breast cancer. I'm in my 3rd week of chemo (Carbo/Taxol with immunotherapy) and my scalp is starting to get itchy & irritated. I've had a dry scalp for a while, so I've been using a tea tree oil & hemp seed shampoo anyway.
What shampoos/conditioners would y'all recommend to help with scalp irritation? I'm not worried about hair loss, just pain. Thanks!
One of my nurse friends gave me Nizoral anti-dandruff. It helped my scalp soooo much. My head was irritated and not happy but this shampoo made my scalp smile! I hope you find something that works for your scalp.
Hi - I had this problem and got something off Amazon that helped: Derma Vitality Soothing Scalp Cream.
I used J&J Baby Shampoo and Conditioner throughout treatment. It was very gentle.
