Almost ten years ago, my life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. During that journey, I faced moments of deep questioning—there were times when I asked God, "Why me?" I had good days when I felt strong, and bad days when I felt overwhelmed. But through it all, my faith in God remained my anchor. My church family and friends surrounded me with love and prayers, lifting me up when I couldn’t stand on my own.

Looking back, I realize that it was my faith, family, and friends that gave me the strength to keep going. I truly believe that God was with me in every step, even when I couldn't see it. There were moments when I felt completely alone, but I wasn’t—He was there, working through my support system. I'm grateful every day for the blessings of life, love, and healing.

If your faith has been shaken, or if you don’t believe, that’s okay. Find what gives you hope, whatever that might be. For me, therapy was also an important part of my healing process. Having someone to talk to, work through the emotional ups and downs, and make sense of it all was incredibly helpful.

For anyone facing this battle now, I just want to encourage you: lean on your faith, your family, and your friends—or whatever brings you peace. You don’t have to walk this road alone.
