Diagnostic Imaging Centers

I just wanted to mention that Diagnostic Imaging Centers gives you the results of your screening mammograms right away. It's the only place I've ever been so I didn't know that every place didn't work that way until recently when someone mentioned that she had been waiting on her results for over a week. At Diagnostic Imaging Centers, you wait in your gown in your dressing room while the mammogram is read. If I had to guess, I'd say it takes around 15 minutes on average. I am used to waiting for several weeks for pap smear results so I am sure I could wait for a mammogram too if I had to, but I prefer to find out right away.
