I just finished 20 rounds of radiation on Sept. 11th. A few weeks after that I started getting a horrible pain in my right elbow. Now I am getting that same pain in my left elbow & the pain runs down my forearm to my thumb. Has anyone else who had radiation ever experienced this?
Thank you…SLB

I did not have elbow pain, but have had nerve pain on the right leg and sciatic pain.  I am still doing PT for the issues on my right side from radiation.  Radiation does a lot more damage, I feel, long term than chemo did.  At least what I know is going on...I am sure lots of things are affected that I don't know is going on. I do nerve glide exercises to help me...not sure if there is an elbow version, but it helps a lot! @

I’m sorry to hear this. I did not have elbow pain from radiation.  Are you doing any other exercises that could be causing it or taking any other medications that could be causing it?  Were you in an uncomfortable position during radiation?  I would ask your radiation oncologist about it. Maybe they can prescribe some PT for you.  Hope you get some relief soon!
