Two time four year breast cancer survivor
Congratulations! How are you feeling? I hope you're feeling stronger each day! ❤️
Congratulations on being a survivor and on joining the Breast Cancer Club. First off, how are you feeling? Are you taking ongoing medications? If you have any questions about that or other topics or feelings, be sure to post here. We have a wealth of information here, and that "lending ear" even if is virtual.
I'm a 2x survivor as well DCIS with Lumpectomy returned 3 years later for double mastectomy. It is hard and it is brutal. I recently went to Bra Couture, a fundraiser to help un and underinsured breast cancer patients. Hearing the stories of women and their cancer journey was inspiring. It's a celebration of life, and the women get to walk the runway with beautiful designs to celebrate their survival success. Despite it being 12 years since my last surgery, the memories of that pain are still present but it's also so great to see women who are with us to celebrate too.
Keep up with us here at BCC - we're a great community of support!
