My name is Amy, and like many of you, I’ve walked through the whirlwind of diagnosis, treatment, surgery, and recovery. During that time, I realized how hard it is not just to need help—but to tell people how to help.

Everyone says, “Let me know if you need anything,” but when you’re in survival mode, figuring out what to ask for can feel overwhelming.

That’s why I built GiftWellSoon, a platform designed specifically for people going through cancer and other hard seasons of life.

💙 What is GiftWellSoon?

GiftWellSoon is a care registry—kind of like a baby or wedding registry, but created for moments of illness, recovery, and support.

It helps you:

• Add items you actually need during treatment or healing

• Request practical support (meals, childcare, transportation, etc.)

• Accept financial gifts safely

• Share updates with friends and family

• Keep all support in one organized place

And most importantly, it gives your loved ones clear, specific ways to show up for you.

💗 Why I created it

When I had breast cancer, people wanted to help but I didn’t always know what to say or ask for. I needed a way to organize my needs and let people help without feeling like a burden. This platform was born from that experience, and from years of hearing other patients say the same thing.
