Today is my 11-year cancer-free anniversary! In some ways, it feels like forever ago; in other ways, it was like yesterday.

As I type this, I am tearing up thinking about the day I received the news. My Dr. told me it was stage 0, so I told family and friends, "It's like cancer." WHAT?!?!? I was in shock and couldn't process it.

I don't think about it daily anymore. I feel really good and so fortunate it was caught early.

Congratulations on being 11 years cancer free! Sounds like you're doing great. I'm happy for you! It is inspiring to hear from people like you who offer hope and express gratitude instead of bitterness.
