Based on my genetic (not BRCA) and family history I’m at a higher risk to develop breast cancer. Right now I’m getting screened twice a year. If you’re high risk what choices have you made for breast cancer prevention?

I handled my high risk breast cancer dx with a nipple sparing mastectomy after being monitored through mammographies, ultrasounds, and MRIs for about 5 years at St.Luke's high risk breast clinic. I have learned to accept my body the way it is. Some days that is easier than others but in general I am glad I made that choice.
