Use this space to swap gently used cancer supplies, share upcoming events, seek recommendations, etc. You may engage in buying and selling but only of personal property for the purpose of support, and you must handle payment and transfer on your own. Choosing your team
I suggest you interview more than one group of Doctors. Different hospitals if possible. However, some insurance companies do not allow you to but I think it was a good option for me.
I choose the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Menorah Hospital. My team of Doctors were wonderful. I can highly recommend my team of Drs.: Dr. Anne Kobbermann, surgeon, Dr. Joseph Stilwill, oncologist, and Dr. Brad Koffman, radiation therapy. Also, the nurse navigator, Dee Smith Kissner was a pleasure to work with during my journey.
Do your research and trust your gut. You have to be your own advocate at times but you can alway reach out for help with all the organizations that are available today.
