Not awkward

This might sound weird, but one of the things I wondered about was whether I'd catch people sneaking glances at my breasts (or maybe not even meaning to but just subconsciously looking at my chest) if they knew about my cancer. If you're wondering that too, maybe it would help to know that I have never noticed anyone looking. I have had some people give me overly careful hugs so they don't squish me, but I'm fine with that because I've had hugs that hurt. But truly it has not been awkward and I don't feel like people are actually thinking about my breasts even when they know what I've been through.
