Anniversary of the diagnosis

As the one year anniversary of my wife’s breast cancer is here it is important to reflect on how far we’ve come. Let your spouse take the lead if they want to recognize this milestone or not. The diagnosis of breast cancer can be a wedge in a relationship or can bring couples together. I am happy that this diagnosis brought us closer together and think it is critically important to be supportive and present for your spouse. Cancer diagnosis and treatment is a roller coaster ride and as long as you stay on the ride together, you can get through these obstacles and come through the other side closer than ever.
