It’s been 1 year and 4 months since my last radiation. I’ve been on the estrogen blocking pill Anastrozole and I have to take it for 5-7 years. I have not had any side effects on this pill, but I did have side effects from taking Letrozole. That pill made me angry at everything. I kept thinking it was in my head, so I stayed on it for 6 months. I finally told my oncologist that I think the pill was making me “not myself”. She switched me to Anastrozole and I’m back!
